The Old Byre Closes Its Door.

 

After much consideration, we have decided to close The Byre door for the last time on Saturday the 28th February 2026.

​

Our little shop, thanks to you, our amazing customers, has exceeded all expectations.We are so grateful for your support over the past five years, it has truly impacted our family and we're deeply appreciative to everyone for sharing in our journey. We hope that you have enjoyed and benefitted from your visits here.

​

Between us, we have dedicated 55 years milking our herd twice a day, seven days a week, and now we feel it is time to move on to new pastures and do something different- as well as enjoying the simple pleasures in life, like spending more quality time with our family, having a quiet weekend, or the occasional day off- something that just isn't possible on a 24/7 dairy farm.

We may be giving up dairy farming, but we plan to keep running our small beef herd and supplying meat for the foreseeable future. This would be collected by arrangement. If you would like to receive updates, please email rockhousefarmni@gmail.com or contact Brian on 07595 895402.
